Kynect is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and we prohibit any content, behaviour, or activity that exploits, harms, or endangers children.
Scope
Kynect is a private club-based social platform designed to help users organise and participate in group activities. Users can create clubs, organise events, manage attendance, and communicate with other members within clubs.
Clubs are private communities. Users can only access clubs through invitations or approved join requests.
User Interaction and Community Boundaries
Kynect is designed around private, club-based communities. Users cannot search for, message, or directly interact with other users outside of shared clubs.
Interaction between users is only possible after a user has joined the same club. Club membership requires an invitation or an approved join request.
Because interactions are restricted to shared club communities:
- Club administrators can remove members from their clubs, immediately ending that user's access to the club and preventing further interaction within that community.
- Users can leave clubs at any time, removing their participation and interaction within that club.
- Users cannot continue contacting or interacting with other users outside of clubs.
These community boundaries are designed to limit unwanted interactions and give users and club administrators control over who participates in their communities.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
Kynect strictly prohibits:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Sexual exploitation or abuse of children.
- Sexual grooming or attempts to exploit minors.
- Any content or behaviour that promotes, encourages, or facilitates harm to children.
Any account found to be involved in child exploitation or abuse may be removed immediately and may be reported to relevant authorities where required.
User Safety Controls
Kynect provides tools designed to help users maintain safe communities:
Club Management
- Any user with an account may create a club.
- Club administrators are responsible for managing their club community.
- Club administrators can remove members from their club at any time.
- Removing a user from a club prevents further interaction within that club.
- Users can leave clubs voluntarily, which removes their ability to interact with members of that club.
Private Communities
- Clubs are private and are not publicly accessible.
- Users must receive an invitation or submit a join request before becoming a club member.
- Join requests require approval before access is granted.
These controls help users manage who they interact with within their communities.
